CHRISTOPHER “CHRIS” FELLOWS
Chris Fellows has a law degree from McGeorge School of Law and is taking the California Bar Exam shortly. His undergraduate education was at San Francisco State University, where he earned a degree in International Relations.
Chris is our lead paralegal and is in charge of interviewing prospective clients, as well as answering questions or resolving problems for clients. He also handles drafting and responding to legal discovery on cases, drafting and filing motions with the court and assisting Mr. Burns at trial.
Chris is married and has two children, Joshua (age 11) and Sophie (age 10). He and his wife, Tanya, live in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, biking and hiking in the mountains near his home.
HEATHER H. HAZLETT
Heather Hazlett holds an American Bar Association accredited Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Irvine. She also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton.
Heather handles all of our office trust fund and other financial accounting and disbursement duties. She also assists in filing lawsuits, as well as managing the sending, receiving and organizing of legal discovery documents.
Heather and her husband, Todd Hazlett, live in San Juan Capistrano, California. She is a member of the Dana Point Outrigger Canoe Club racing organization and participates in races throughout Southern California. Heather is also a runner and competes in races for various charities.
Donna Burns is a retired TWA Flight Attendant who still loves to travel. She is our receptionist and file manager, and also assists with client notebooks and filing correspondence, court pleadings and case financial records.
Donna also writes a column for our law firm’s monthly newsletter, sharing information and photographs about our staff members, family and friends.
Donna and John Burns have been married since 1974, and have two children and one granddaughter.
